My name is Katey. I'm nineteen years old and I really like to bake. I'd have to I've had a passion for it ever since I was young, and I'm pretty good at it. My mom got me the book "500 Cupcakes" by Fergal Connolly this Easter as I small gift and I am ambitious enough to take it on. I am giving myself 2 years to complete this book. Taking on every recipe (and maybe even some of the additional variation recipes) within 2 years of yesterday April 21, 2010, the day of my first cupcakes.
CUPCAKES #1...Eggy Cupcakes
First of all, these were delicious! They reminded me of "Lazy man pie" a dish my mom and grandma have made with peaches. I chose to do these cupcakes first because I thought they were hilarious! They look just like sunny side up eggs! I can tell that all the cupcakes out of this book are going to be delicious because I think they all have the same basic ingredients. I can't wait for the next recipe, as I'm sure my friends and family can't either!
did the peaches stay in the frosting pretty well, or was it a balancing act?
